ASUS has officially announced that its upcoming ROG Phones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In a recent development, the company has begun teasing the imminent release of these new smartphones.
ASUS shared a teaser image on X, which not only confirmed the impending arrival of the ROG Phone 8 but also provided a sneak peek at the rear of the device. The image, displayed at the top of the webpage, showcases a prominent camera bump housing three cameras and a flash.
Accompanying the image was a tweet that stated, “Beyond gaming,” implying that the new phones will offer more than just exceptional gaming performance.

While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, ASUS’s recent teaser for the ROG Phone 8 hints at a possible unveiling at CES 2024. This teaser coincides with the ROG Phone 8 series appearing in a certification database, explicitly mentioning the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. Notably, the listing also introduced a mysterious device named the Zenfone 11 Ultra.
